Audiograbber rips audio from CDs to .wav or .mp3 files ... and records .wav or .mp3 audio from your PC's audio input.

An essential tool for broadcasters, Jackie Franck's Audiograbber rips digital audio from CDs and makes .wav files. It copies the audio digitally — not through the soundcard — which enables you to make perfect copies of the originals as fast as your CD-ROM will allow.

Audiograbber can also automatically normalize the music, delete silence from the start and/or end of tracks, and, with an internal or external MP3 encoder, it can automatically create MP3s from the tracks in a choice of quality modes. After downloading and installing Audiograbber, download the lame-enc.dll file to your audiograbber folder to enjoy a professional-quality internal MP3 encoder.

Audiograbber's "Line In Sampling" is a full-quality recorder which lets you record .wav or mp3 files in real time from the audio input of your PC. Radio pros can take advantage of a recording-timer feature for digital airchecking.

Audiograbber does not put a single file in your Windows directories — no device drivers, spyware, adware or other bugs.

For Windows 98/2000/XP/7 PCs only.
