For Linda: Working Classical Paul McCartney has turned classical with love songs to his late wife Linda arranged for a string quartet. "These are songs that I wrote for Linda," he said of the eight compositions that form the core of his classical album Working Classical. It was given its world premiere in his hometown of Liverpool. "I think the song Warm and Beautiful  works really well and it's my favorite of the arrangements and that one really does get to me. It captures some of my innermost feelings for Linda," he said. She died of breast cancer in April, 1998. "I enjoy the fact that I can work both ways. I'm Gemini and we are supposed to like this and that. It's slightly schizophrenic."
